The short version: no accounts, no location, no ads, and your raw words are deleted within 7 days. Every rule below exists because an anonymous app died breaking it.

• No accounts, no names

  You never give us a name, email, or phone for the product itself. Identity in the product is a random device ID that rolls to a new one every 30 days of inactivity — it is not tied to you.

• Your raw words die in 7 days

  What you actually said (audio transcription or typed text) is kept for at most 7 days for safety review, then deleted permanently. Only an anonymous, third-person situation summary and statistical fields remain.

• No location, ever

  We never touch GPS or precise location. Situations are matched by role and context — nurse, night shift, short-staffed — not by where you are.

• No ads, no data selling

  No advertising, no third-party trackers, no selling or profiling. Individual vent data is never used commercially — including via the API, which only ever exposes counts and aggregates, never individuals' entries.

• Crisis handling

  If a vent looks like a crisis, we show crisis line information and do not process or store that vent. A minimal safety event record (device ID + category only, no text) is kept for safety operations.

• AI processing disclosure

  Your text is processed by AI services (speech-to-text, situation extraction, embedding, safety classification) operated by Alibaba Cloud (DashScope) and by Supabase (storage) to produce the anonymous summary and matches. These providers process data on our behalf.

• Payments

  Checkout and billing are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details and email for the transaction — we never see your card.

• Restore codes

  If you buy a subscription, you get a one-time restore code. The code and its database record contain no identity information — just a random string linked to the subscription.

• What you can do

  There's nothing to export and no profile to delete — raw text auto-deletes in 7 days. For anything else, email [email protected].
