Why it's safe here

Every rule below exists because an anonymous app died breaking it.

• No DMs, ever

  Private messages are where anonymous apps went to die. There is no inbox here. Nothing to harass anyone with.

• No location

  We never touch GPS. Your situation is matched by role and context — nurse, night shift, short-staffed — not by where you are.

• Your raw words die in 7 days

  What you actually said is kept one week for safety review, then deleted forever. Only an anonymous, normalized summary remains.

• No advice, by design

  This is not a forum. Nobody can reply to your vent. You get counted, matched, and heard — not fixed.

• Not for minors

  Vents that indicate the speaker is a minor are declined by our safety layer and never stored. This is a stress-relief tool for the working world — nurses, night shifts, tough weeks.

• Crisis support, not crisis handling

  If something sounds like more than a bad day, we point to real humans: 988 in the US, local hotlines elsewhere (findahelpline.com), in your language.

• Evidence is labeled, never faked

  Counts are real counts. AI-generated "typical situations" are always marked as AI. Verified humans get a badge. No bots dressed up as people, ever.

• Report and takedown

  Every vent card has a report button. Reports go to a human queue and are handled daily. Devices that threaten others are banned.
